Denise and Odette,
owners of La Galerie Comeau,invite you to visit the gallery.
"La galerie Comeau" is located in
Comeauville, at the heart of St. Mary's Bay, in southwest
Nova Scotia. This rural Acadian region is a small French-speaking
enclave on the coast, and is a three-hour drive from the provincial
capital Halifax.
This Acadian community has its own customs and
culture, and the painter Denise Comeau is one of its most
well-known artists. Through her visual works, she expresses
a whole range of emotions and impressions, both specifically
Acadian and simply universal.
